Super Juicy Blogs- The Aussie Edition, Pt 1

Get your bliss notes

Hello, my spicy tomatoes!
Welcome to another installation of Super Juicy. This week I’m shining the spotlight on Aussie bloggers who I’ve been following for a while now- my go-to’s, my oldies, my goodies. Here you’ll find everything you’ll need in an afternoon web browsing session- health information, wellness tips, soul food, fashion, photography, music. Pure bliss. To my northern hemisphere readers, here is a wonderful showcase of what Aussie bloggers are capable of, enjoy.

1. The Wellness Warrior

This is my one stop shop for health inspiration; the place I like to visit often while sinking my teeth into new knowledge. Jess Ainscough, the creator of The Wellness Warrior, is championing a green, clean and beautiful life, post cancer, and I am constantly singing her praises. My body is certainly a much nicer place for my soul to hang out after having discovered Jess’ online home.

2. In Spaces Between

What Jess’ advice and mentoring does for my health, Rach has done for my little dark voice, the devil sitting on my shoulder, or what Gabrielle Bernstein likes to call the ego, or fear. Her positivity radiates through each and every one of her posts. After an hour perusing her beautiful blog, In Spaces Between, it’s difficult not to feel as though Rach has been a friend of yours for years. Prepare for a life overhaul (in the most fantastic of ways!).

3. Dream Delight Inspire

Kim, the corporate-turned-creative behind Dream Delight Inspire, truly encourages me, perhaps without her realising it, to do all three. Like Rach, Kim’s online hub is an inspiration station; a place for women to linger, unite and encourage each other {particularly with her new Support Her Initiative}. A lot of my love for this blog stems from my admiration of Kim. A young woman in her mid twenties {like me}, who decided to say ‘Screw the Man!’ and is living out her creative dreams, making an income doing what she loves. I can’t wait to be mentored by Kim one on one in the future.

4. The Spring Blog

It’s so delightful, whimsically clicking through Catherine’s The Spring. She takes such pride in her home and holds obvious interests in decor, fashion, DIY projects, home cooking and city adventures. Catherine has been part of my online community since the very beginning of my health revolution, and although we live entirely different lives, I like to think that we continue to inspire each other.

5. Owl vs. Dove

Put simply, this bright little corner of my world that I like to call Such Different Skies would cease to exist if it weren’t for Soph, the super-radness behind Owl vs. Dove. Almost two years ago, Glen and I were fruit picking in Central Queensland, Australia when I discovered that Soph had a blog- we’d been friends for years and I had no idea that O v D existed {which is a credit to her modesty}. I spent a week consumed in her beautiful online space, and immediately thought I needed to jump on this blog bandwagon, for travel journaling purposes. I remember emailing Sophie and asking whether she could help me with some basic designs. ‘What’s a widget?’ and ‘How do I change the font?’ were regular questions from me, the terribly inexperienced blogger {I still am!}. I remember paying back Sophie with duty free vodka and toblerone for helping me put Such Different Skies together.
Anyway, Soph, quite frankly, is the shit. Spend a little time checking out her site and you’ll be delighted by fashion, lomography, music, festival adventures, DIY awesomeness and sweet little nothings.

To anyone reading this, I encourage you to regularly share your favourite blogs with the rest of us. There must be so many pockets of blog brilliance out there, just waiting to be discovered!
