Choose Your Own Adventure with The Well Daily

Get your bliss notes

There is no denying it; I’m a wellness junkie these days.
I love the green, inspiring, sexy, health filled stuff.
For me, health doesn’t stop at cramming as many veggies as I possibly can into my daily juice. Nor am I satisfied that snowboarding four or five days a week completes the bill. It delves much, much deeper. In fact, my quest for wellness is never ending.
Luckily for me, that quest is made all the more simpler by subscribing to a handful of brilliant wellness pioneers {that also, conveniently, love to write e-newsletters}. I’m constantly totally blown away by the daily emails that I receive; they’re enough to keep the fire alight in my belly, and each one of these emails continue to affirm my choices in championing this lifestyle.
It is certainly true that when we make conscious decisions, when we actively forecast with imagery {positive thinking, gratitude journaling, vision boarding} and when we seek what we’re looking for, the information comes, the lightbulb moments come, the awesomeness, comes.

Yesterday’s email from The Well Daily was no exception. Every day, courtesy of The Well, I receive a happy pill, a one page email loaded with health advice, tips and inspiration. This one was titled: Create Your Own Cleanse Cheat Sheet, and upon tweeting the girls and asking their permission, they were more than happy for me to share their tips with you!

First things first, choose a time frame. One day? One week? One month?
Next, steer clear of one or more these punkscaffeine, sugar, alcohol, meat, dairy, eggs, gluten.
Then choose one of more healthy habits to embrace health-
Eat less cooked food and more raw food
Drink an abundance of filtered water with lemon
Load up on grains like quinoa, amaranth, millet and buckwheat
Get your protein from beans, legumes, nuts and seeds
Limit water during meals, since it dilutes stomach acids
Fill up on green juices and green smoothies
Declare a juice feast one day a week
Dry brush daily

Get in some daily yoga and meditation
Try a colonic or two
Take probiotics and digestive enzymes daily

If the cleanse process seems daunting, just start simple. Even cutting out sugar and upping your greens intake for a week will leave you feeling totally refreshed, body and mind.

Awesome advice, I love the flexibility! Do yourself a favor and shoot on over to The Well so you too can get dosed up daily on happy pills.
Are you an inspiration fiend like me? Then maybe you’ll also love these guys as much as I do. Let them fill up your inbox with power and positivity!

Thanks for the links, I’m always looking for new stuff to read like this! It makes such a huge difference to surround yourself for what you want to become – when I was interested in going vegan back in the day, subscribing to blogs, reading books and listening to podcasts made all the difference. It really keeps you inspired and your attitude positive!
