Such Different Vixens: Lauren Aletta from Inner Hue

There is something so wholesome and mesmerising about this woman.

Maybe it’s her innate knack for giving the indescribable a description – as is often seen on her gorgeous blog. (I’m certain that she’s a a scribe for the heavens).

Maybe it’s because her intuitive gifts are so freaking finely tuned that it all leaves me a little speechless sometimes.

Maybe it’s her inner hue…

Mostly though, I think I’m smitten with this Vixen’s contradictions…

So incredibly loving, but let it be known: she’s ain’t gonna take no shit.

So intuitively guided, but so human in the face of her fears.

And so fiercely maternal, but with a silliness and joy that could outshine a child’s.

I’m a hopeless romantic for the way people communicate. I can’t help it. If someone is deliciously articulate, or if they exude something I’ve never experienced before, or it they take me by surprise with the words they say, or how they say them, well… I’m captivated. I’m a goner.

That’s how I feel about Lauren. A radiating soul with insights that illuminate, a smile that makes you sigh, and a tender capacity to hold space for herself (and others) to shine in their vulnerability.

I adore this Brisbane babe, and you’ll dig her too — just wait until your eyes land on her gorgeous online space.

Meet the orchestrator of Inner Hue, Lauren Aletta.

:: SHARE YOUR SOUL ::

Sum up your mission in one sentence.

Your heart, your essence always knows. My mission is for you to re-connect with You, your unique, radiant and trustworthy energy so you can first understand the language of your Soul and be guided by your own internal knowledge to create a life in full expression and alignment of Who You Are.

Yep… to be able to do that even in the smallest of ways makes my heart sing! (One sentence…. oops!)

Can you share with us one of your most vulnerable moments (and in hindsight, what made it so beautiful?).

Childbirth. I had all my babies at home, so it was intimate… yet at the same time completely vulnerable, not only because child birth is so powerful and messy, beautiful and humbling at once. But also because the process is out of your control and in the hands of the gods, no matter where or how you choose to birth. That’s pretty vulnerable, yet incredibly magical, no?

What turns you on – cranks your dial right the way UP?

Words. Art. Passionate expression. Graceful fierceness. Juicy taboo conversations. Music that makes me feel and want to dance. Laughter. Fresh ocean and creek swims. Growing vegetables. The smell of earth. Connected sex with my lover. Vulnerability. Inner Adventures. Intuition. Magic. The Beauty I see in everyone, absolutely everyone. That turns me on.

What makes your blood boil? (Honestly)

I hate to say it, but lots of things. I can be quite passionate at times. Maybe the Media, or the education system… the most. But what underpins those structures that makes my blood boil is disconnection. And the rife unseen encouragement of disconnection that infiltrates our foundations from such early ages leaving us potentially confused. Gosh… I can feel that fire rising even thinking about it!

How do you define ‘peace’?

Peace is accepting that I’m a little fired up right now about what makes my blood boil! Hahaha. But, really it is. Peace is how you design peace in any given moment and I love that about life! We get to create and give our own meaning to everything! How rad is that? Peace – for me is being completely accepting and embracing of me wherever I’m at – which is not always an easy or straight forward path. But it is the most free flowing. And it allows me to support and walk adventurously beside others too. It’s like…You’re in a funk? I’ve been there too. Let’s peace it out our own way, together!

Outbursts of ecstasy – the kind of belly laughs that leave you crippling over in agony from the sheer joy of it… What’s one of these memories that stand out for you?

Hahaha! I have so many! Children are the best stand up comics you’ll ever be privy too! I love laughing to the point of crying. I snort when I laugh too, I used to be so embarrassed by this, but realised snorting made me and everyone laugh more, (because it’s so ridiculous, and graceless!) but more laughter kinda made me feel better about the ugly snort.

Looking back, how have you most GROWN?

In accepting me. Embracing my intuitive abilities, embracing my shizz, and so called “stuff ups” and choosing to love them instead. I realised loathing and hiding mySelf wasn’t only hindering me and my life, but also impacted the strength and vibrancy of my energy and ability to create which tumbled out onto friends and family within my sphere. That I was the choosing to be the opposite of my Truth leaving me feel out of alignment. So I took the big, bold, scary but powerfully creative move to step into it. We only have one life right? Argh! It’s nuts, and such an adventure but wouldn’t change it for a second.

If we all looked up your name in a dictionary, what 5 words would we find to describe you?

Oh my gosh, I dare not think how varied those 5 words could be! Today I would say…. Creative. Fun. Wild. Adventurous. Passionate. But, I am sure I would describe myself differently tomorrow. :)

:: QUICK & SLICK ::

Combining my passions with a business I love makes me feel … Anchored and Alive.

Few people know this about me, but I … Feel incredibly shy most of the time, and get nervous (and excited) before each and every reading

I secretly wish I could … Be a rally car driver. Or bare back riding, bow and arrow toting, wind in my hair, shaman. Or a pirate.

To me, the words ‘Such Different Skies’ mean … to take stock of the incredible and changing beauty of my skies, and to create from there.
