Lessons from Meditation

Get your bliss notes

Buddha statue http://barnimages.com/

Happy, wonderful, lovely Tuesday/Wednesday to you.
Well, eeeeeeekkk! This is my first ever video blog. I’m not going to lie, I was a little nervous. A little unsure, maybe even a little self conscious? I don’t think I’ve ever experienced a recording of my voice and face at the same time, but alas! I conjured up the guts to deliver you this little video, which I hope you’ll like.
In this crazy world of cyber space, sometimes we forget that there’s a voice behind the words. Sure, we see photos of each other, we probably even create make-believe voices for the words based on what we think each other sounds like {guilty as charged}, but I always find it fascinating watching video blogs. It’s a surreal and intriguing realization that, wow, this is totally a real person. And so I thought it was time to rear my head, and my voice, and say hello.
In the video I talk about what I learnt at a recent meditation workshop; the parallels we can draw from real life, and the knowledge that we can bring to our quiet place while trying to find inner peace. Mediation newbies, do not be scared away, I am one too! And if you’ve never tried meditating before, then I encourage you to watch the video. Don’t be scared of your busy mind, acknowledge it. Practice patience, beautiful things will happen.

If you liked this video, please like it and share it with your friends. Maybe I’ll become brave enough to post videos more often?

I love the look of your website. I recently built mine and I was looking for some design ideas and you gave me a few. May I ask you whether you developed the website by youself?
and let me in my everyday living. Thank you.
