new beginnings: via instagram

Get your bliss notes

Happy lazy, wonderful Sunday all. How was your weekend? Mine was fantastic; I now call Melbourne home and even the miserable, apocalyptic weather couldn’t dampen my spirits. I have already been overdosed with my favorite musings I have missed out on with mountain life. Catching up with friends and meeting amazing new ones, live music, fresh food and cheap beer (although, I don’t drink much anymore). Yesterday we went to the Preston Markets and I was like a kid in a lolly shop! We walked away with an overflowing market trolley full of fresh produce, grains, beans and tofu for less than $30. I’m still fizzing on it! What I am not fizzing on is instagram. I can’t upload photos into the feed! Everyone else’s photos load, and I can comment on them, but all my photos fail, yet it still saves the photo in my photo library. Grrrrrr! Can you help me? Anyway, some images from our first weekend in MLB.

1. Stumbled across these Emma and Tom bars. Get around it! They are all natural and raw, and only contain four or five ingredients which I love. They all contain a dried date base, with some nuts (either cashews or almonds), a little chia seed, what ever fruit or flavor (like cacao or goji or fig) and some sort of cold press fruit oil (such as orange or lemon). They are so good.
2. Wake up- it’s market time!
3. The girls- oh so French with their long skinny cigarettes.
4. My super antioxidant salad feast I made for our vegetarian guests: recipe tomorrow.
5. Live music at the Brunswick Hotel. Their base guitarist was rad.

Now, while I told you that we did not have a white wedding, the last few days we were on Mount Buller, the snow bucketed down… it.did.not.stop. So, a few hours before we were ready to head down the hill, we jumped back into our wedding attire (albeit with a few warm accessories) and have a little photo shoot. Happy.

Thank you for your beautiful comments on my last post. More Love Party photos coming soon :)
