Maca — Girls, check with your naturopath about this. Everyone goes a little crazy on the maca (I used to eat it every day), but my amazing naturopath has asked me to stay away from it. Something about over active hormones and maca being too stimulating, or something.
BLEND. POUR. GUZZLE. BUZZ.
Let’s cheers to that warm chocolately goodness by tagging me on Insty: @tara_bliss. Raising my mug to you, in advance!
Of course, share this delightfully simple recipe with your peeps! Please and thank you.x
Ooh, this sounds DELICIOUS.
xx
Thanks Tara – I’m so glad you mentioned the maca powder. I also feel a little crazy when taking it and as a result don’t take it anymore.
xoxoxo
Just tried this today…being cold and rainy…perfect to warm up the tummy
LOVE THIS! So excited to make one… it’s cold and grey here today and this is JUST what I need to pick me up this afternoon!
Will you be around the markets Sunday?
x Catherine
Hi there. I was interested in your comment about Maca Powder. What do you mean a little crazy? What did you experience. I take Maca in a green smoothie and feel good. I am nearly 55 and I was having some hot flushes etc. I hardly get them now. Can you explain what they said as I have my daughter on it now also and the rest of my family.
Kind regards
Noelene
