What Do You Believe In?

Get your bliss notes

Hello lovely!

Today’s question comes with a video. It’s a simple question. Kinda.

I really want to chat to you about your core beliefs, because essentially, I’m super interested in how it is that you show up in your life once you’ve identified what it is that you believe in (I’m of the opinion that many of us don’t know quite yet).

So. With battering eyelashes, I ask that you please give me 9-ish minutes of your time, that you pull out some paper and your favourite pen, and despite the outward ‘fluffiness’ of this question, come at it with fresh ears and an intention that you’ll craft your perfect answer.

Warning: There’s a naughty word in this video. Actually, there’s a couple.

And here’s the link to the 7 Day Reading I mentioned in the video :)

Yay! You heard right. I feel really good about the time I spent away from my comment section; I was able to get my e-book finished and spend some time on ze biz, but now? Bring on the connection! I’m beyond pumped to be sharing and laughing and crying together in the comments. Love you guys.

So tell me. What’s your core belief?

Comments are baaaaaacccckkk! WoopWoop! I believe in the beauty of a simple life. I believe that nothing is ‘just a coincidence’. I believe that you always have a choice. And I believe that ‘everything will be ok in the end – if it’s not ok, it’s not the end’ xx

Oh Becs – I just love that last line. You’ve seen the best film this year too :)

It’s in a film? This has been the line my high school bestie and I have been saying to each other for about 15 years! I dunno where we got it from, but it’s seen both of us through some rough times!

Wow, really Becs. Yes, the best movie ever ‘The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel’ – here’s the line and I LOVE it – you must have known the old Indian saying without realising :) Wow!! XXX

I believe that everything happens for a reason. That reason may not be known right now, but I believe in the knowing and trusting that “I can never do anything wrong, that no matter what I do, I am still loved unconditionally”. Everything happens for the benefit of everyone, so be at peace, smile, and just love every moment of life!

I also believe that there are no coincidences or luck. I believe that luck is intention plus awareness. That everything is orchestrated by a higher power – something greater than us – and that every chance meeting, lesson, or person in my life is brought to me because there is something valuable that I have to learn from them or this experience.

Last but not the least, I believe that we are right where we need to be right now. It’s all good where we are – and I can always just look around and appreciate everything that surrounds me and us. I guess what I really believe is that this is a journey, a beautiful one, where there are no wrong turns – merely detours that take us some place else so that we can truly appreciate the beauty around us – and then we’ll always get back on the path we are meant to be travelling on.

I believe that that journey is the soul’s purpose for being here – for growth, expansion, appreciation – and it will always be a journey. It can really never be done. The journey is meant to be fun, filled with laughter, joyful experiences, and awesome travel buddies. There are milestones on this journey, but I believe there is never a final destination. It can never truly be DONE – there’s always the NEXT adventure to embark on. I believe… Don’t take anything TOO seriously – just have fun and cherish this physical experience!! Yay!

YAY to comments being baaaackkkkk, beautiful ♥ Great post and thx for sharing. What do I believe in? Pretty much everything you just said. I do believe in speaking my truth so if I’m fucked off about something – I will declare I’m fucked off. I acknowledge the anger, the thought pattern or whatever it is, which for me is very different than saying: My life sux! Because clearly it doesn’t but I do get momentarily angry with the blips but then I take stock and ask what’s going on…

I do believe in Love at first sight even though I’m yet to experience it :) In fact when it comes right down to it – I believe in LOVE, UNIVERSAL PEACE AND THE LAW OF ATTRACTION ♥

      And I love you XX

I believe… that everything is PERFECT. You are perfect. My fears are perfect. Your anger is perfect. There is nothing to do, and literally EVERYTHING to create that is open to possibility. Everything that Jia Ni and Becs said… plus infinite love, which is all that we are, truly.

I believe that life is amazing. And that is what I’m experiencing. I LOVE what you do so much Tara :) see you at the Night of Stillness! <3

      Hi lovely :)

I took a little time to mull this over before adding my thoughts! Really got me thinking!!

I believe in true love, I believe that we are all connected, I believe that we are made of star dust and I believe that we are the universes’ way of knowing itself.

I believe that living in the present brings ultimate freedom and happiness, I believe that we are bigger than we realise and that we each have a soulful story to tell.

I believe in questioning and searching and seeking truth. I believe that there is magic in connection and music in sharing our truths.

I believe in second chances and I believe that we can live the life we desire – we just need to fight for it.

Above all I believe that all beings could be free and happy if only we would put our differences aside and stand up for peace and compassion.

Thanks for the deep-soul-searching question honey :)

An ace post Tara, thank you so very much.

Similar to many of the beautiful people above, I believe that everything happens for a reason. And that if it’s not happening for the best, I believe that we must embrace the uncertainty and know that we are exactly where we are meant to be within the universe.

I believe that living simply is the key to a rich, fulfilling, meaningful and overwhelmingly enjoyable life.
